On 1 November, 2011, BMNH Deputy Director Yang Jingcheng welcomed four representatives from National Institute of Biological Resources from South Koreaand gave them an introduction to our exhibitions, educational programs, and taxidermy and specimen management in BMNH.

Founded in 2007, NIBR aims to establishSouth Korea’s biological sovereignty by securing, possessing and managing national biological resources, research on bio-resources, support the biological industry through the establishment of a foundation for the utilization of national bio-resources and raise public awareness of biodiversity and human resources through exhibitions and education.

After the meeting, the representatives visited the galleries to study the exhibitions.
