BMNH First Fun Sports Games Rounded Off
published:2011-10-27
On 17 October, about eighty BMNH colleagues participated in the museum’s first Fun Sports Games at the plaza in the front of the gallery hall. Since it was Monday, the gallery hall was closed. All those exquisitely designed competitions were interesting and challenging.
For individuals, there were five sports items, namely, Kangaroo Jump, Crossing Distance with Three Bricks, Running with Ping-pang Ball on the Table Tennis Bat, Bicycling Slowly, and Rope Skipping in One-Minute. Seemingly easy, those games proved demanding, in terms of both physical strength and willpower.
And for teams, there are three items, including Four Persons Walking in One Pair of Clogs, Two Persons Crossing Distance While Supporting a Balloon with Belly, and Five Persons Running with Neighboring Legs Bound by Cloth Gaiters. Here, the team spirit prevailed.
Through the competition, laughs and cheers resounded with involuntary applauses. Everyone had a good time and those who got the rewards through hard and smart work were especially happy.
