摘要：本文收集了分布于不同地区的瑶族、苗族和蒙古族以及生活在相应地区的其他民族的体质数据资料。通过对这些数据的分析，作者认为相同地区的不同民族的体质特征差异小于不同地区相同民族的体质差异，民族是一个文化的概念，而不是种族的概念。并根据这一结果认为用现代民族体质特征研究民族族源是有待商榷的。

Abstract: This paper collects plenty of anthropometric data about nationalities including Yao\Miao\Menggu distributing in different place and other nationalities living in the same places. The cluster analysis of anthropometry of all these minorities was made in this paper. From the charts of dynamic cluster analysis, it has been shown that the difference of physical characters between the same nationality living in different places is more than that of the different nationality living in the same place. It concludes that to study the origin of the nationality by the cluster analysis is not advisable.
